Anglo-Danish Society Scholarship 2022-23

Every year Ove Arup Foundation administers in conjunction with the Anglo-Danish Society a special scholarship, awarded for study at postgraduate level in subjects relating to the Built Environment.

This year, it has made its annual award to two UK students. Rebecca Browne and Rebekah Ball both want to study for a MA in Architecture at Aarhus School of Architecture.

The support from this scholarship will allow both to pursue their interests:

Rebecca Browne wants to rethink the way we design, materials we use and the way we build provides the opportunity to reconsider the resources we use, the distribution, how we live with each other and what role technology and innovation can have in the future.

Rebekah Ball says that studying architecture at Aarhus will allow her to explore architecture from a more theoretical and artistic viewpoint and to understand the Scandinavian design approach which has always interested her.
