Anglo-Danish Society Scholarship 2021-22

Every year the Ove Arup Foundation administers in conjunction with the Anglo-Danish Society a special scholarship, awarded for study at postgraduate level in subjects relating to the Built Environment.

This year, the its award to Danish student Alberte Agerskov, who is studying for an MA in Fine Art at Central St Martins, London.

The support from this scholarship will allow Agerskov, who has an expansive interest in material studies, to examine her architectural practice through a critical lens, as well as provide the opportunity to immerse herself in the works of inspirational figures, as well as the wider society. It is Agerskov's stated hope to emphasise the importance of an understanding of materials and their relationship with the outside world.

At the same time, Agerskov anticipates that the Masters put her at the forefront of new platforms and new architectural contexts, and give access to a rich network of alumni for future opportunities and more focused development.
